Tan Rui Shan

Tan Rui Shan is a dynamic and multi-talented actress, dancer, choreographer, and theatre-maker who has been captivating audiences with her immense talent since graduating from LASALLE College of the Arts' Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Musical Theatre, with First Class Honours and the Future Leader Scholarship award in 2017.
Rui Shan's impressive portfolio includes a range of noteworthy productions, but she is perhaps best known for her outstanding performance as Mrs Lee Kuan Yew in Kwa Geok Choo by Toy Factory Productions, directed by Goh Boon Teck. She has also starred in several other highly acclaimed theatre productions, such as The Amazing Celestial Race 2022 by Wild Rice, directed by Glenn Goei, Forbidden City: Portrait of an Empress by Singapore Repertory Theatre, directed by Steven Dexter, 12 Going on 13 by Gateway Arts, directed by Ian Loy, and La Mariposa Borracha by Creative Inspirit, directed by Alvin Chiam.
In addition to her successful acting career, Rui Shan has also made a name for herself as a highly skilled and accomplished choreographer. Her exceptional talent has been featured in numerous productions, including The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) by Singapore Repertory Theatre under the direction of Daniel Jenkins, and Behind the Wall by Gateway Arts, helmed by Samantha Scott-Blackhall. Rui Shan's work has even gained international recognition, having choreographed the Pinkfong and Babyshark Musical in Brunei, produced by MCC International.
In addition to her individual pursuits, Rui Shan is a co-founder of Bitesize Theatre Productions, a young and exciting theatre collective. In May 2023, Bitesize Theatre Productions will be staging a new musical titled "The Monster in the Mirror Musical" in collaboration with Gateway Arts.
Rui Shan's abundant and varied talents have placed her in the ranks of the rising stars of theatre and performance. She is known for her tireless drive to push the boundaries of her craft and leave a lasting impact on both the industry and the realm of education.
Terrance Tan Junyan

Terrance Tan is a multi-disciplinary musical creator with works encompassing film, dance and theatre as a director, choreographer, actor and post-supervisor. With a keen eye for unique visuals, his works focuses on finding the wonder and empathy in the midst of humanity’s darkest impulses.
Some of his directing credits include: The Monster in the Mirror by Bitesize Theatre Productions (Writer/Director), Star Awards Opening Musical You are the Brightest Star (Media Corp & Postwork), TLC Christmas Classics Stories by SRT, TLC Classic from Around the World by SRT, The Commission by Singapore International Festival of Arts (Assistant Director & Video Director). His assitant directing credits include: 小红帽 (Little Red Riding Hood) Musical by Singapore Repertory Theatre, Lungs - Singapore Repertory Theatre, Tuesdays with Morrie by Singapore Repertory Theatre, 天上一层楼 (Upstairs in the Sky) - Singapore Repertory Theatre.
Michelle Ler
Singer, Dancer, Songwriter, Musician (@ljy_leid)
Born and raised in Singapore, Michelle found her passion in music and dance at a young age. She pursued Classical Music through her ‘O’s and ‘A’ Levels, and holds an ABRSM Grade 8 in Piano, and plays the guitar and Guzheng as well. An accomplished dancer, she is trained in various dance forms including Chinese dance, ballet, Broadway jazz, tap, and contemporary.
Graduating as the Valedictorian of 2018 and the winner of the McNally Award for the Excellence in the Arts with a BA (Hons) Musical Theatre degree in LASALLE, Michelle’s LASALLE credits include: A Chorus Line (Maggie Winslow), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Hermia), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Olive Ostrovsky), Urinetown (Hope Cladwell). Her other performing credits include: The Gingerbread Man (SRT), Corporal Crumble’s Christmas Crisis (Centre Stage School of the Arts), Esplanade Concourse.
As an all-rounder, Michelle has also branched out as a musician into both the theatre and Mandopop scene locally as well. She has played the keyboard in bands for musicals such as The Great Wall: One Woman’s Journey (Glowtape Productions), AIDA (Lasalle College of the Arts). She has also been the Music Director’s Assistant for various productions including Urinetown (Pangdemonium), A Spoonful of Sherman (Sing Theatre), The Last Five Years (Ethel Yap). As a composer, Michelle has composed for an original musical The Monster in the Mirror (Bitesize Theatre Productions), Behind The Wall (Gateway Arts), and her Mandarin original song “下场” clinched the Most Popular Song Award at the SGSW: 我写我的歌 competition in 2019.
With her passion in both music and performing, Michelle hopes to make Musical Theatre more known in Singapore and to encourage more people to pursue their passion in theatre.
Tanya Ang Ting Ya

Tanya Ang holds a BA(Hons) in Musical Theatre from LASALLE College of the Arts. She was involved in Jeremiah Choy’s work-in-progress Bukit Merah Musical which features Wayang Golek. Last year, she performed her first written work in PLAY 2019! Festival in the Drama Centre’s Black Box titled Playing Mind Games, performed her first Mandarin Musical 《守护海洋的神岛》by The Fool Theatre as well as Stella Kon’s Lim Boon Keng Musical. Also, she is presently involved in the touring of Splat! and PeterandTheWolf by Faust International Youth Theatre. Her other theatre credits include Singapore Repertory Theatre’s production of Forbidden City: Portrait of an Empress (2017) and The Little Company’s Chicken Little (2017). Additionally, Tanya is also a museum educator. She is currently programming museum tours for MINT Museum of Toys and is currently pursuing her MA in Museum Studies and Curatorial Practices at Nanyang Technological University.
